Ella Garnes is a Chicago-based visual artist, currently in her last semester at Columbia College Chicago for Set Design and Constitution. Her practice centers on texture, layering, and material exploration, transforming fabric and found elements into tactile, dimensional compositions.

By combining her own photography with hands-on fabrication, her work lives at the intersection of image and object. She creates pieces that highlight texture, inviting viewers to see her own memories shown in an abstract, futuristic form.
